Kashena Adventure

4 days/3 night of Adventure

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

Early morning pickup from your hotel and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley until Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Although small in dimension the park has abundant wildlife and most famous for its tree climbing lions. The lake is also home to many hippos, flamingoes & buffalo. Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s dream and the landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that cannot be described with words, simply breathtaking. After a full day game drive, we will transfer to the camp/lodge for dinner.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Very early morning start, we will begin our journey towards the most famous National Park in the World, the Serengeti. Although the drive is long, it is spectacular. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. The journey continues into the home of the Great Migration, where you will witness wildlife on a whole new level. As you begin to enter the plains of the Serengeti, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. Home to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, antelope and elephants. Due to its rich environment, it is prime real estate for lions, cheetahs, leopards & hyenas. After a full, adventurous day, we will turn into our camp/lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Animals are mostly active during the evening hours, so we suggest a very early morning start to the day to catch some of the action & to watch the sunrise over the plains, one of the most unforgettable experiences. We will enjoy a picnic style lunch in the plains of the Serengeti, continue our game drive searching for the action before we begin our journey to the next destination, the Ngorongoro Crater. We will reach Ngorongoro in time to watch the sunset and arrive to your lodge safely.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Another early morning start from your lodge, we will begin our descend into the Ngorongoro Crater; stopping at the upper rim to enjoy the spectacular view of the crater below. Just when you begin to think it cannot get any better, we will enter the Noah’s Ark of Africa. Ngorongoro Crater, also known as “Africa’s Eden”, inhabits almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. The abundance of wildlife truly is extraordinary and is one of the only places on the continent of Africa that you have an opportunity to witness the Black Rhino. Enjoy a picnic style lunch with your guide and continue our game drive into the late afternoon conquering all the hours possible until it is time exit the park and begin our final journey back to Arusha, to your lodging accommodations.
